On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, February 14, actress Richa Chadha announced her next film which is a love story. The comedy drama is tentatively titled Akhri Somvaar. Apart from starring in the filmastigbet, Richa has turned writer for it.

It was during the second lockdown, when Richa was not satisfied with just becoming a producer, she penned the script of Akhri Somvaar.

Richa further said, ''I think there is currently a dearth of family entertainment. And I think as an actor, my comic timing has been greatly under-utilized. Speaking as a producer, it is a monetizable asset''.

Akhri Somwar promises to be a ''refreshing take on love, societal expectations, and the lengths one goes to for a dream wedding.''
